Everyone was hoping for a positive start to 2021, after the year that was 2020. But, just 4-days into the New Year it was announced we’d be heading back into another national lockdown.

So many people have struggled to keep on top of their physical and mental health over the past year as we’ve faced being away from loved ones for an extended period of time, not working and not being able to carry out our ‘normal’ daily routines.

Wellness has boomed – people of all ages and background are looking to refine their wellness habits to feel more positive. We’re looking into different wellness movements you can carry out to stay positive and up your wellness game in 2021.

Fitness at home

Physical exercise is one of the best stress relievers; not only does it help to keep us in shape, but it releases chemicals in the brain which keep us happy. With fitness centres being closed again due to national restrictions, it is important to find ways to workout from home.

If you aren’t a fan of running in the local park, why not look more into yoga or meditation routines you can do in the living room?

More and more social media profiles are sharing home workouts which you can enjoy without having to leave the home – and without being a pro athlete. Beginners can join in too!

Remember, even a simple workout has the power to relieve physical tension and take the edge off any stress or anxiety you may be feeling.

Take time to rest

It might sound funny; taking time to rest, while there isn’t much we can do these days. But, rest is an important aspect to everyday wellness. Physical, mental and emotional exhaustion all take a toll on our body.

Some of us are continuing to work from home, others have been furloughed and so man are trying to balance working and homeschooling our children. Even just 2-weeks into the New Year, plenty of people are already feeling the strain.

Everybody must take more time to be gentle on their bodies and find a way to recharge. If you can sleep a full 8-hours each night, great! But if you wake up often, or struggle to go to sleep at a reasonable time, you can feel low in mood, irritable and often more hungry the next day.

Try to take a short power nap in the middle of the day – if you can – to relax and recharge your body.

Introduce CBD to your daily routine

At Sweet Pink CBD, we noticed more people coming to us last year to ask questions about CBD and if a product could help their daily wellness. This was heavily down to the pandemic and the initial introduction of national lockdowns and tiered systems.

CBD – or cannabidiol – helps to reduce symptoms of anxiety, stress, depression and more. Many of our products contain full-spectrum CBD. This means the products contain all the natural chemicals found in the cannabis plant – the benefits are greater and the effects are stronger.

While you won’t become high or feel any psychoactive effects, you will find you have increased levels of energy, reduce feelings of stress or anxiety and stop any aches or pains within your body.

Our plant-based, organic CBD is available in a variety of products, so you can find the best way to take your daily dose of CBD and wellness.

When purchasing CBD products, it is important to ensure the products you’re buying are from a safe, trusted brand. At Sweet Pink, our analytical reports are available for download, and all our products are developed with only natural, plant-based ingredients.

Available to buy online, Sweet Pink’s range of luxurious natural products make ideal presents for friends and family, or for your own self-care and wellness routine.

From energising CBD infused bath bombs to relaxing massage and bath oils, choose CBD you can trust.
